The Sharia Governance structure adopted by the BOK is in line with regulatory and Islamic Sharia governance standards that entails having:

• Internal Sharia Advisory Function
• Internal Sharia Audit Function
• Independent External Sharia Compliance Audit

BOK International ensures compliance to the Central Bank of Bahrain rules and regulations on Sharia governance.
